Pros and Cons of a PVC Greenhouse
One of the important thing that you need is the climate and place of your greenhouse. Though PVC has many benefits, it also has its cons. One issue raised with PVC is its stability. Sure, I was having a fun time maintaining the greenhouse at summer months, but come winter season and all I got was frustrations, thanks to the strong winds. So I just planned on making a wooden greenhouse for those winter months.
However, the good thing with PVC is that it is a portable greenhouse. If you plan to place it elsewhere in your house, then you can do it. PVC greenhouse is also recommend for those who lives in the city or those who can only a lot a narrow space for their greenhouse.
As much as it is portable, PVC is also good for the budget. IF you are planning for a low cost greenhouse, then PVC is one of the best options. Actually, it is one of the cheapest due to the lightweight materials. But PVC being lightweight, it limits you to use only lightweight things as well, especially for your coverings.
In terms of the ability to grow plants, you need to make a lot of assurance in PVC. Because it is lightweight and the limited use of materials, you have to ensure that it gives the perfect environment for your plants to thrive. If not, then consider other types of greenhouse.
