How do you turn off a lawnmower?
Just bought a toro lawnmower but lost the instruction manuel. I know how to turn it on (pull switch) but their is now off lever or button. Please let me know ASAP, thanx. BTW their are two levers, one makes it go but I don’t know what the other one is for.

Man, I’d be more worried about why my hair is blue than how to turn off a lawn mower…….do you mow your grass at night? Because I know I would if I had blue hair…
Usually if you turn the gas/accellerator down low enough, the engine will die (turn off).
The other lever might be for the propulsion (wheels).
Have another really ugly lawnmower put the moves on yours. That probably turn it off. I’ve seen it happen in bars hundreds of times.
look up the model number online under the Toro website, it usually will have a downloadble PDF manual for you to find all the instructions you need. The PDF reader is free online if you don’t already have one. Just go to the Adobe website to download a free reader.
Thats a safety lever and the off switch.
Don’t try pulling the spark plug wire, you may get a jolt.
Try putting the choke on full if it has one.
